This delightful beaded star is made by Rosalie Blanza, a single mom who provides for both her son and her parents. Like many women in the Philippines, Rosalie struggles with underemployment, but her beadwork for Elevita is enabling her to save for her own home. These ornaments are about three inches tall, and each one comes with an artisan card that shows Rosalie and tells her story.
