African Village Hut Nativity Set

Hand-carved from sustainably sourced eucalyptus wood by the women of RiseRahama Initiative in Uganda, this unique nativity set reimagines the Holy Family within traditional Ugandan thatched-roof huts. Each hollowed wooden structure reveals delicate relief carvings of Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus gathered around the manger, bringing together traditional African architecture and the timeless story of Christmas.

The natural wood grain, intricate thatched details, and warm beeswax finish highlight the skill and artistry behind each piece. With its minimalist design and meaningful cultural inspiration, this distinctive nativity makes a beautiful addition to your Christmas décor and a special keepsake to display year after year.

Through Elevita’s partnership with RiseRahama, your purchase helps bring the artisans’ work to a wider market while supporting the preservation of traditional woodworking skills and apprenticeship opportunities for local youth.
